C-Funk can refer to one of two different artists: 1.C-funk is an american rapper and producer from East Palo Alto, California. In the 80's and early 90's he went by Cap'N Crunch and was a member of the group Rated X along with Cool Breeze and D.J. Ajax. When he went solo he also produced his albums and became known by a small following for his Parliament-inspired beats and laid-back G-funk rapping style. He produced for various artists including Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, and Suga Free. In 2001 he changed his name to !ProHoeZak?, releasing one album, Fake It Til' I Make It, under this name before returning to the moniker C-Funk for his 2008 album, About Funkin Time. . 2.When you ask Funky C AKA. C-Funk about his musical influences, the Chilean-born composer will start telling you an eclectic list of musicians that expand from the baroque to the grandmasters of funk, soul, rock, Latin jazz, bossa-nova and Latin alternative rock.
