Buckwheat has been played on NTS shows including Soul in Paradise w/ Jamma Dee, with Smoker's Emporium (Instrumental) first played on 13 January 2017.

Buckwheat was a punk band from Kiev, Ukraine. Formed by members of Undercurrents, Clearsight and Arms Around in 2010, they did just one recording never to be released on a physical carrier in the end. The trio was known for their anti-homophobic views and positive foolery. After playing for a while (along with Maloi, Bluesbreaker, Dead To Me, Lemuria, A Wilhelm Scream, Franz Nicolay, Jeff Rowe among the others), the band shortly split. Members of Buckwheat went on to form Yah, Cold Season, Sike etc.
