After establishing himself as a major force in Dance/House music with a series of hits on the legendary dance label, STRICTLY RHYTHM, Ira Levi made 2008 stage debut in the hilarious production, "WHY WON'T HE LOVE ME FOREVER?". As a popular dance artist, Ira's Billboard singles include "Free Your Mind", "We Came To Work It Out" and " LET THE CHILDREN DANCE!" He's worked with famed producer/remixers Jellybean, DJ Pierre, George Morel and Roger S. and has rocked festivals and stadiums throughout the world.

Raised in NYC, Ira Levi hails from a talented musical family. His father is legendary Jazz/Pop vocalist Sam Fletcher ("I'd Think It Over Twice") and his siblings include gospel's hottest new artist Gina Fletcher ("I Am Healed"), famed Death row vocalist Nanci Fletcher ( "Keep Tha Heads Ringin") and promoter/producer Courtney Fletcher. <

"Let The Children Dance!" was rated among the top 3 dance songs to watch for by About.com in 2007. The song was inspired by Levi's work on the behalf of young victims of homicide. The single was released exclusively to ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH for instore play and quickly became an international smash.
