Dean McPhee is a solo electric guitarist who lives in West Yorkshire, United Kingdom. His influences includes psychedelic rock, post-rock, Mali blues, minimalism, krautrock, British folk, bluegrass and Moroccan trance. He plays a Telecaster, through a valve amp - his guitar sound incorporates decaying delay effects, reverb and shimmering tremolo.

In about 2006, McPhee started playing one-off solo concerts.

In 2011, his debut full length LP Son of the Black Peace was out on Blast First Petite.
