Abstract Thought has been played on NTS shows including Eclair Fifi, with Galactic Rotation first played on 23 March 2017.

Abstract Thought was an alias used by Underground Resistance's Drexciya for their 2002 release Hypothetical Situations on the record label Kombination Research. The obscure print, owned by The Advent, released Hypothetical Situations shortly after the death of James Stinson. A self titled album (Abstract Thought) with new tracks was released on Clone Aqualung Series in 2019.
