Sick Sick Birds has been played on NTS shows including Yesterday's News, with Second To Last first played on 29 March 2017.

The Sick Sick Birds formed a short time after The Thumbs disbanded in early 2003. With a surplus of mostly incomplete Thumbs songs ready to be put together, Thumbs frontmen Mike Hall and Bobby Borte started the new band as a means to continue recording new material and playing shows whenever possible.
