1) Ghostwriters (sometimes also called "The Ghostwriters" or referred to as "Ghosties" by fans) are an Australian rock band, a collaboration principally involving former Midnight Oil drummer Rob Hirst and Hoodoo Gurus bassist Rick Grossman.

In the early 1990s, while Midnight Oil were taking a break, Hirst joined up with guitarist Andrew Dickson and Hoodoo Gurus bassist Rick Grossman to form a side project called Ghostwriters.
