Thread

Thread has been played on NTS in shows including Brav, featured first on 25 April 2017. Songs played include Dalling and Connningham.

There are at least three groups that go by the name of Thread:

Thread was a grunge band from Seattle in the 90's. They were a local band and their music never made it too far out of the city. They have two albums and a demo tape, "Everyday Grace", "Thread", and "The Demo Tapes" respectively.

Thread is commonly mistaken as early Alice in Chains recordings or demos. Their website is http://itsnotalice.com/

Thread was a minor "super-group" in the mid-90's put together by keyboardist Vince DiCola (of Transformers and Rocky IV soundtrack fame), with Jethro Tull drummer Doane Perry and Tower of Power vocalist Ellis Hall.

They released only one self-titled album in 1996, which takes the musical direction of a mixture of catchy pop melody lines, complex arrangements in a more progressive style with a huge AOR production, along with a touch of soul delivered by vocalist Hall.

Thread was an electronic project of James Izzo from 1998 to 2001. During that time Izzo released two full albums one EP a 7in single and various compilation contributions as well as several remixes. Most notably for the band "Coil".
