Hush Pup's debut ep "Darlene" garnered critical acclaim from alt-blog Silent Shout and creative incubators, Weird Canada. With the later remarking, "Hush Pup spring forth as a fully developed and actualized dream-pop band, with a sound that’s cohesive and instantly recognizable."
