The Gordons has been played on NTS shows including Perfect Sound Forever, with Spik And Span first played on 13 April 2014.

The Gordons hailed from Christchurch New Zealand in the late 70's. Back then, Christchurch was a musically isolated place which is relected in the unique sounding bands that rose to prominence in the city during this time. You can particularly hear it in the extremely heavy, original sound of the Gordons inteligent industrial punk. They eventually morphed into Bailter Space who went on to release a number of albums.
