Hum has been played on NTS in shows including Idle Hands w/ Zane Landreth, featured first on 16 September 2017. Songs played include Desert Rambler, Folding and I'd Like Your Hair Long.

Hum was an Alternative Rock band mixed with Post-Hardcore formed in 1989; the band performed a mix between both genres obtaining a characteristic heaviness that would define them for the rest of their career (this sound is also known today as Heavy Alternative). The band went through member changes until 1993, finally settling with Matt Talbot (vocals, guitar), Tim Lash (guitar), Jeff Dempsey (bass) and Bryan St.Pete (drums) until their split in 2000.
