Dan Gower And Julie LaMendola nail current day caucasians and sexuality to club walls. They've been playing music together for over 3 years, toured with the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players and worked with Kevin Blechdom (who produced their albums). Rooted in Bushwick, Brooklyn, Ching Chong Song plays at The Sidewalk Cafe whenever they're home. Julie and Dan are commited to pushing music and true human behavior closer together, pulling people into a well of horniness at every performance.The unconventional duo stars Julie LaMendola (who sings and plays the saw) and Dan Gower (who plays the piano and wears a piano tie). Their 2nd album, Everything is for Babies, also features Susan Hwang (The Debutante Hour) playing accordion, traditional Korean drum (jang gu), and other percussion, as well as additional vocals and third harmony. Their songs are spare, but they compensate with enough chutzpah to fill Carnegie Hall.
