The Wizards From Kansas were an obscure country-psych rock group, formed 1968 in Kansas. In July and August of 1970 , the Wizards From Kansas recorded their eponymous debut album in San Francisco. During the recording of the album, several band members decided they would rather play jazz, and duly departed to pursue their interests. Shortly thereafter, The Wizards From Kansas disbanded.
