Barrington DeVaughn Hendricks (born October 22, 1989), known professionally as JPEGMafia (stylized as JPEGMAFIA), is an American rapper, singer, and record producer. He was born in Flatbush, Brooklyn, New York. He began gaining attention with the release of his debut studio album "Black Ben Carson" in 2016 through the independent label Deathbomb Arc. His second album, "Veteran" (2018), received widespread critical acclaim and helped establish his reputation in experimental and alternative hip-hop circles.

His third studio album, "All My Heroes Are Cornballs," was released in 2019 via EQT Recordings and marked his first appearance on the Billboard 200 chart. In 2021, he signed with Republic Records and released his fourth album, "LP!," which continued to receive critical praise. In 2023, he released a collaborative studio album titled "Scaring the Hoes" with fellow rapper Danny Brown through AWAL. This was followed in 2024 by his fifth studio album, "I Lay Down My Life for You."
