Golden Teacher started life as a collaboration in Glasgow's legendary Green Door studio between various bands from the city's fertile DIY scene. Brothers Laurie and Oliver Pitt (formerly of noise punk trio Ultimate Thrush) cover drums and percussion respectively, whilst Americans Richard McMaster and Sam Bellacosa (of all-analogue house duo Silk Cut) take on electronics duties.
