Gudon has been played on NTS shows including Boris , with Life Is No Merit first played on 15 December 2017.

Gudon (愚鈍 or "stupidity"), even amidst a crop of other extremely noisy Japanese hardcore punk bands of the 1980s, probably ranked in its heyday among the noisiest, possibly only rivaled by Disclose and Ferocious X. Not much is known about Gudon. They released the Zanin Seiji (残忍聖者) 7” in 1985 which was a very classic epitome of the style and era going on at the time. Gudon used splintered, blistering blasts of guitar and bass noise mized with clobbering drums and gruff vocals a la Gauze.
