Sir Thomas Jones Woodward (born Thomas John Woodward, 7 June 1940) is a Welsh singer. His career began in the 1960s with a series of top 10 hits, and he has since maintained an international performing career, including regular concert engagements and long-running appearances in Las Vegas between 1967 and 2011. His voice has been described as a robust baritone.

Jones has performed in a wide range of musical styles, including pop, rhythm and blues, show tunes, country, dance, soul and gospel. He has sold more than 100 million records worldwide. In the United Kingdom he has achieved 36 Top 40 singles, while in the United States he has had 19 Top 40 hits. Notable recordings include "It's Not Unusual", "What's New Pussycat?", the theme song for the 1965 film "Thunderball", "Green, Green Grass of Home", "Delilah", "She's a Lady", "Sex Bomb", and a cover version of "Kiss".

In addition to his music career, Jones has occasionally worked as an actor. He made his acting debut in the television film "Pleasure Cove" in 1979 and appeared as himself in the film "Mars Attacks!" in 1996. In 1970 he received a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy for hosting the television series "This Is Tom Jones". In 2012 he took on a dramatic acting role in an episode of the series "Playhouse Presents".

Jones received the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1966. He later received an MTV Video Music Award in 1989 and two Brit Awards, including Best British Male in 2000 and Outstanding Contribution to Music in 2003. In 1998 he was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE), and in 2006 he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for services to music. During the 2010s he experienced renewed public visibility as a coach on the television talent show "The Voice UK".
