United Mutation was one of the best and most strangely unique bands to come out of the early 80's DC Hardcore scene. Their sound ranged from fast and chaotic in their demo beginnings to an atmospheric, melodic groove on their final release, "Rainbow Person"(a punk rock masterpiece).
