Weird Weather is a psych folk band from Peterborough, Ontario that is comprised of Nick Ferrio (Sweet Kansas; Bloody Miracles; The Burning Hell), Mike Duguay (Mike Dugay & Bear Trees; The Burning Hell), and Jay Swinnerton (Tarantula) respectively.

The band's name purportedly comes from Ferrio looking for a means to address the awkward social interaction between strangers other than using an opening conversational gambit of "weird weather we've been having".
