HD Substance (aka Luis Rozalén) has been exposed to electronic music since the late eighties. He bought his first synthesizer in 1987 and formed a band called Ballet Mecánico, heavily influenced by electronic pop music. Travelling to london he discovered acid house and the band LFO.
