In 2005, Tadd Mullinix aka James T. Cotton teamed up with then roommate D’Marc Cantu to create 2 AM/FM, an unflinching take on pure techno and house. Their first releases, EP's Pt. 1 and Pt. 2 featured raw drum boxes and cavernous synths in line with the sound of Rephlex and Trax Records.
