We Are Parasols used to just be Parasols. But, it's 2015 and the solo project is slowly growing into a band. We Are Parasols is at least a duo, hopefully a trio, and maybe more if they stumble upon the right people and/or androids.

d and j/wilkins have taken a look at the best of their past catalog and thought, "what if these were demos, how could we do this better?" Their upcoming debut full-length, Infrastructure, features some old songs, a couple covers, and plenty of new material, but it's all drastically overhauled and processed through their new post-shoegaze electronic noise filters.

Inspired by Medicine, Gazelle Twin, Curve and The Cocteau Twins the band went into the studio with one idea, but quickly turned it on it's head. They have stumbled out of the studio with a record that's dark and gritty but still catchy and accessible. The debut single, "re:Union" is available now.
