Marina Herlop, born Marina Hernández López, is a Catalan experimental musician.

She is a conservatory-trained composer, vocalist, and pianist who began her career by interpreting compositions from Debussy and Chopin with a contemporary approach, influenced by the Romantic era. Her first album, "Nanook," was heavily influenced by her classical training. For her second album, "Babasha," she started to incorporate synthesizers and electronic sounds. Herlop has since expanded her musical style to include more electronic elements, as demonstrated in "Pripyat," her debut album on the PAN label. This album combines hypnotic continuities with complex rhythms, processed vocals, and organic elements.

Herlop draws inspiration from South Indian Carnatic music, with the piano remaining central to her work. "Pripyat" represents a shift towards electronic music while maintaining a connection to her environment and classical background. She uses various electronic tools to create layered and intricate soundscapes. Herlop aims to create multifaceted musical worlds rather than reinterpret her previous work. Her music has been featured at events such as Primavera Sound, WOS, and MIRA.

During live performances, Marina Herlop is accompanied by five musicians and creates immersive, dreamlike atmospheres. She integrates piano and electronic instruments in her performances, combining technical skill with a focus on aesthetics.
