Gary Charlson was a guitarist and singer-songwriter from Kansas City, Missouri. Although unable to find mainstream success, his melodic tunes for Titan Records from the late 70s have long had a long cult following among power pop/new wave fans. Stylistically, he is similar to contemporaries Todd Rundgren and Squeeze.
