Jako Maron has been played on NTS over 10 times, featured on 19 episodes and was first played on 13 June 2018.

Jako Maron was born in St Denis, Reunion Island in 1968. He developed an interest in electronic music composition from the late 1990s and for the last 15 years began experimenting with the tertiary and binary beats of Maloya music via modular synthesis and drum machines. His album "Les Experiences Electro Maloya de Jako Maron" compiles his electro-Maloya experiments for the first time.
