Alternative Reality has been played on NTS shows including Mr Beatnick, with Circus Bells Vs You Got Me Jackin' first played on 29 October 2013.

Alternative Reality’s combined passion for 80s-70s disco and early 90s music has now let him to become one of today’s hottest up and coming producer/remixer, causing everyone to wonder what will he produce next. Alternative Reality has original releases and remixes on his label Prompt Digital as well as Funkatronik, Eden, Tiger Trax, Red Sessions, Dig:Atel and Shush Music just to name a few.

Born in Ecuador and raised in California, Alternative Reality’s love for music began when he started listening to old tapes his parents kept around which consists of 80s and 70s music. But it wasn’t until his brother upgraded his ear to a new genre called Hip House which is where Alternative Reality found his true calling. At an early age Alternative Reality began mixing and soon after just like every DJ began to crave production. A few years later Alternative Reality purchased himself a copy of Reason and immediately began to work day and night.

In early 2007, Alternative Reality was introduced to Jon Kennedy from Immense Recordings. Later that year Jon Kennedy launched Alternative Reality to the Electronic Dance Music scene with his first single “This Movement” followed by “From L.A. To Chicago” which then got signed to Paul Anthony’s Mixed CD “Electro Sessions”. As 2008 came along Alternative Reality kicked off the year strong charting on Beatport’s Electro Top 100 at 25 with Felipe Avelar’s ” Electric Boogaloo” which he wrote lyrics for and produce the chart topping “Radiotron Remix”. Soon after, Alternative Reality does it again only this time climbing Beatport’s General Top 100 at 19 with “Revenge in the Disco” on Content Recordings. Already gaining support from worldwide DJs such as: Richard Vission, Bad Boy Bill, Charles Feelgood, Flash Brothers, Stupid Fresh, Crookers and Donald Glaude. There is no doubt that the future looks strong for Alternative Reality as well as his label Prompt Digital.
