On 11 March 2016, The Range was a guest on Solid Steel; and on 9 March 2016 was a guest on You'll Soon Know w/ Tim Parker. The Range has been played on NTS over 30 times, featured on 28 episodes and was first played on 4 June 2012.

The Range is also known as James Hinton, a young electronic producer from Providence, RI with a faculty for melding frenzied footwork percussion and melodic R’n'B vocal cut-ups to generate rich, emotional bass music for the bedroom and the club.

He has had singles and an album released on South West London based record label Domino.
