Sofie Royer was born in California to Austrian and Iranian parents, and spent time in Vienna studying at music conservatory in her teens. On returning to L.A, she started working at Stones Throw and helped to expand Boiler Room's U.S. operations on the West Coast as a music supervisor. Sofie has since relocated to Vienna for further studies and performs with the Vienna Academic Philharmonie.
