Lil' Kim is the blueprint for the contemporary woman rap superstar. In the 1990s when other pioneering women like MC Lyte and Lady of Rage battled gender disparity head on, Lil' Kim embraced sexual liberation, documenting her explicit adventures through her dextrous lyricism, and in music videos that cooked the brains of conservative America.
Dina Juntila aka Dina J is a Los Angeles based DJ. record collector and music supervisor. "High Noon" is a seated round about of sounds with the idea that the mix is its own OST for some unknown film. Each month features a special guest with a similar sickness.

DJ Nexus exploded onto the Club and Dance scene with a style that was all his own. Instead of taking the same club anthems that have been mixed, remixed, and mixed again, nexus decided to start from scratch and create his own style of floor pounding wall shaking ear candy. Before Nexus could earn a name for himself he started out hanging with friends who were DJ’s, keeping a close eye on how the whole DJ scene worked. It was sometime in 1994 when he decided that he was going to give it a try. Throughout the years Nexus learned the DJing skills by reading books, watching videos and just good old fashion learn as you go mentality. In 1999 Nexus bought his first DJ setup and from there on out the rest is history. DJ nexus is known as a man of many styles and is always willing to take risks. Although Nexus hasn’t dominated the club scene just yet, he has managed to catch the ears of radio stations out in the UK as well as a few other overseas air waves as well as over 2 dozen pod cast shows. Techno, Trance, Hip Hop, Ambient, House and more, nexus has touched them all. With his first House CD released in late 2006,”Welcome 2 My House” Nexus turned a few heads with a new sound and flavor. He has also managed to flood the underground Hip Hop scene with two highly successful mix tapes “Midwest Most Wanted, The Introduction vol 1” and “2 Undaground 4 Radio”. From there Nexus has worked on many remix projects for up and coming artists and bands, and has placed four completely “independently produced” albums under his belt. In 2008 Nexus released his follow up from his first club banger “Welcome 2 My House” with a new hard pounding joint called “Groove Theory” and this time around he let it be known that he is no follower. With his latest release in march 2010 "After Party" Nexus took his lyrical skills of Hip Hop and infused them into some of his hard hitting Dance club beats which has given this album a unique sound and since it's release "After Party" has become one of Nexus's most successful releases. From the U.K, Japan to Australia and Germany I think it would only be fair to say that this DJ is about to bring the house down. Are you ready?
