Toronto born, Berlin based artist Nathan Micay has always been hard to pin down. His debut EP on esteemed label AD93in 2018 ‘First Casualty’ became one of the biggest hits of the dance music circuit, gaining acclaim on best of year lists from Resident Advisor, Mixmag, Dj Mag. He followed this up in 2019 with his debut album ‘Blue Spring’ on Warp Records affiliate label LuckyMe. The album became a landmark release that effortlessly brought together the sounds of trance, electronica and techno, placing them under the roof of the avant-garde. The release received wide acclaim, prominently featured on many end of year lists, this time in dance music and beyond. As a DJ, he has continued to make his mark on the international club circuit, establishing himself as a regular at key venues such as Berghian Berlin, fabric London, Contact Tokyo and Goodroom NYC. However, in 2020 Nathan truly arrived, moving into the world of scoring.

During the past six years, his unique sound has underpinned the hit HBO series Industry, soon to be in its fourth season. The series and his music have received acclaim from The Independent, The New York Times and The Hollywood Reporter. Nathan also scored the Sydney Sweeney driven film Reality, HBO original documentary Time Bomb: Y2K, as well as a number of other series for Netflix and Paramount +. Upcoming projects include The Copenhagen Test for Peacock and Margo's Got Money Troubles for A24 and Apple.

His latest artist album ‘To The God Named Dream’ was released in the fall of 2023 and was called one of the best albums of the year by Mixmag, DJ Mag and other dance music institutions.
