David Boring has been played on NTS shows including Live from Beijing, with Machine #1 first played on 5 November 2016.

David Boring is a post-punk band from Hong Kong, formed in 2013. The band members are Laujan (vocals), Jason Cheung (guitar, vocals), Panicube (bass), Yat-Wa Cheng (guitar), and Stan Chik (drums, vocals). They released their debut album, Unnatural Objects and Their Humans, in 2017.
