Boris Blank has been played on NTS in shows including Andrew Weatherall Presents: Music's Not For Everyone, featured first on 19 February 2015. Songs played include Electrified (Carl Craig Headphone Mix), Oranges and The Time Tunnel.

Boris Blank started as a guitar player in the new wave band URLAND in Zürich. He played with drummer Sternini, bass player Ron Styler and keyboardist Carlos Peron.

After the split of the band Boris founded the TRANCEONIC studio in Zürich together with Carlos Peron. In this experimental studio the two developed what would later on become the famous Yello sound.
