Nova Fronteira

Nova Fronteira

Nova Fronteira has been played on NTS shows including P-rallel, with Everybody Loves The Sunshine (Sean McCabe Remix) first played on 28 June 2017.

'Full Fronteira' is the debut album under the Nova Fronteira guise from keyboard maestro Michele Chiavarini. Keyboard maestro Michele Chiavarini's career as session multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer spans over 20 years and it ranges from pop to dance, from film and TV music, from Latin and Jazz to World music….

From the Latin-infused dancefloor filler of 'Supernova' to the acoustic yet melodic straight-ahead jazz of 'The Roots' which brings the album to a close, 'Full Fronteira' is a rich and vibrant journey through 16 tracks of Jazz, Funk, Soul, Latin, Disco and House.

Although this album has an underlying sound and feel throughout, it is difficult to pigeonhole it with one specific style, as it genuinely does take in all those mentioned above. There are upbeat tracks ('Baila Conmigo', 'Fact Of Life', 'Calma' and the aforementioned 'Supernova') that would not be out of place on a summer Ibiza or Soulful House compilation, and in contrast there are several very laid back tracks ('Moody Maria', 'Keep It Like This', 'Still' and 'So Real') that musically are so warm you can almost feel the heat radiating from them!

Regardless of the movement in styles and tempos on this album, the underlying quality of the live musicianship, arranging, and production are completely flawless, with fantastic contributions from the likes of Guida De Palma & Tyrone Henry on vocals and Joey Negro arranging, production and mixing duties on several tracks.
