Ääriö has been played on NTS shows including The Witching Hour, with Alinen first played on 18 August 2016.

ÄÄRIÖ is an instrumental metal band hailing from Helsinki, Finland. The music is highly influenced by doom, sludge, science fiction and horror literature.

Debut album "Alinen" was self-released in 2009.

Demo 2011 was recorded in February 2011 and released later that year.
