Englesia has been played on NTS in shows including Angel Food, featured first on 6 July 2017. Songs played include Erotic, Party Demon and March To Gothic Cathedral.

Englesia is a DJ - vocalist - producer - artist - curator with close ties to UNITI & Bala Club. They began their journey as a teen spending weekends dancing to experimental dance music in a Shanghai bomb-shelter-slash-club, and from there was inspired to follow the footsteps of those who soundtracked those experiences, by moving to London; they found a home in the growing, international, heavy-duty-drum-heavy alternative club scene. Equally comfortable at a colourful, queer house party or in a DIY, pitch-black room, they've played sets in underground scenes from Shanghai to Milan to Detroit, and have no fear behind the decks when experimenting by switching between BPMs & fusing music with striking vocals, intense drums, & deep bass-lines. Described as "most definitely an artist to watch", their work carries themes of disconnect, identity crisis, & loss as well as seduction, love, & joy as forms of empowerment, with sounds influenced by adolescence in the club, childhood riddled with rock music, a life of constant redefinition.
