Secret Knowledge has been played on NTS shows including Gilded Sound Reflection, with Breakdown (Secret Knowledge Light Mix) first played on 15 February 2014.

Secret Knowledge are Kris Needs and Wonder Schneider. 1992 club hit "Sugar Daddy" on the Sabres of Paradise label. The track also appeared on their 1996 electronic album So Hard on Deconstruction Records; Needs and Schneider wrote all the material, occasionally in collaboration with artists such as Ashley Beedle and Jah Wobble.

Kris Needs (born 3 July 1954) is a British journalist and author, primarily known for his writings on the music scene from the 1970s onwards. He was editor of ZigZag Magazine and has written biographies of numerous rock and dance stars including Primal Scream, Joe Strummer and Keith Richards.

Wonder Schneider is a US vocalist.
