Ollie Brown

Ollie Brown has been played on NTS in shows including The Extended Play Sessions w/ Mr Pedro, featured first on 20 December 2014. Songs played include I'm So Glad I Met You and Let This Be Your Night.

"Brown is an old-school troubadour. He writes and plays the sorts of songs that call to mind a young Bob Dylan, earnest and confessional without ever tipping over into saccharine sentimentality" - Tom Magazine

In January 2012, on the strength of his new title as “Australia’s Best Busker” (presented by mX, Studios 301, ARIA and VOX magazine), Brown began touring the east coast for two months, travelling over 16,000kms and playing twenty nine shows.

Ollie then joined Kina Grannis (USA) as the special guest on the Australian leg of her “In Your Arms” world tour, playing sold out shows at the Sydney Opera House and Ormond Hall in Melbourne.

Followed with a festival debut at Byron Bay Bluesfest and handful of local shows, Ollie was then hand picked as the special guest on Bic Runga’s (NZ) “Hello Australia” national tour.

In September 2012, Brown supported The Beach Boys as they toured Australia on their 50th Anniversary.

Ollie’s debut album follow-up to the debut EP “Moving On” (produced by Thirsty Merc’s Sean Carey) is slated for mid 2013.
