The nu/alternative/modern metal band LINFENG was founded by four guys from Kaunas - Karolis, Giedrius, Mindaugas and Tomas in 2002. The band won the national round of the Lithuanian competition of underground bands in July of 2003 and received a ticket to the festival "European Music Meeting`03" organised in Grace in Austria. This was the breaking point in the career of the band as it filmed a professional video clip and recorded several songs in "Explosive" studio.
