Istanbul based kim ki o started making music as the bass and synthesizer duo in the summer of 2006. kim ki o's sound is based on playing every instrument live. They structure the songs with hazy vocals, usually sung in Turkish on top of the monotonous beats out of a hip-hop style drum machine. kim ki o has played various shows around Turkey, Europe and UK, joined highly influential The Radio Dept as the support act in 2011 in Germany, Moon Duo in April/May 2011 in Europe and UK, and Jens Lekman in 2008 in Europe.
