1) Enemy is a british jazz trio of drummer James Maddren, pianist Kit Downes and bassist Petter Eldh.
2) Enemy was an American band fronted by guitarist and vocalist Troy Van Leeuwen (also of Queens of the Stone Age, 60 Cycle, Failure, A Perfect Circle), with bassist Eddie Nappi (Handsome, Mark Lanegan Band), and drummer Kelli Scott (Failure). They used many different drummers before settling on Kelli Scott (Failure, Veruca Salt). Troy has described Enemy as his "big, dumb rock band." The released their debut album, Hooray for Dark Matter, on October 5th 2005.
[This is for the bands solely named Enemy. The word "the" appears nowhere in their names.]
