Joy Ellis has been played on NTS shows including Alexander Nut, with From Dusk Till Dawn first played on 2 September 2018.

Joy Ellis is a pianist, singer and composer based in London, UK. Since appearing on the music scene she has performed all over the world and at home in the UK at venues such as Ronnie Scott's, the Barbican Pit Theatre and the Savoy Hotel. She achieved a Masters in Jazz Performance from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama graduating in 2008 and has performed with an array of fantastic musicians on the UK music scene including Omar Lye-Fook MBE, Anita Wardell and Nikki Iles. In 2012, she won 1st prize in the National BASBWE Festival for her composition for Concert Wind Band. Renowned British composer Philip Sparke described her as a "composer with an original voice and the means to express it".
