Kastrierte Philosophen

Kastrierte Philosophen

Kastrierte Philosophen has been played on NTS shows including Bullion, with 40th Generation first played on 26 November 2018.

Kastrierte Philosophen (their name can be translated as "gelded philosophers"), was formed in 1983 by Matthias Arfman and Katrin Achinger in Germany. Those two performed together with various other artists on their releases as well as at their concerts. One could see Kastrierte Philosophen as more a musical project then a regular band.

Their style is hard to describe: it ranges from Psychedelic Rock, Hip-Hop, Dub to electronic music.

Kastrierte Philosophens last output was in 1997, the album Where Did Our Love Go.
