Tim Sweeney is DJ of legendary Beats In Space radio show mixed live by Tim and special guests in New York City on WNYU 89.1 FM every Tuesday night from 10:30pm to 1:00am. The show began in the fall of 1999 and has not missed a week since then. Tim holds a residency at APT and is in demand all over NYC due to his unique style, bringing together all sorts of things from old school hip hop to techno classics with ample quantities of disco, a lot of rarities, re-edits and remixes including a selection of all the coolest new tunes around as well.

He's also scored internships with legendary Steinski and DFA Records (where he has paying production duties). Tim is also a regular DJ with DFA on their tours and playing out all over the world in his own right.
