The Haskels has been played on NTS in shows including Yesterday's News, featured first on 19 December 2018. Songs played include Taking The City By Storm.

The jewel in the crown of Milwaukee punk, the Haskels featured two distinctive songwriters, Presley Haskel and Richard LaValliere, and a drummer, Guy Hoffman, who went on to play with the BoDeans and Violent Femmes. They were as deft at reiterrating the verities of great rock'n'roll as they were in taking the songs out of the box and into the bizarrely hilarious. -Dave Luhrssen
