Mixo started performing at age 12 in a Hip Hop Group he formed with his two brothers (Lance & Lonny) and a friend (Roni) called Public New Sence They Won Talent shows and performed all over the Detroit area. in High School he formed the Rap Group The AZTEX then came 7 Below and Rhyme Asylum a Hip Hop Collective that became very well known in the Hip Hop underground for Thier high energy Stage performances. MIXO took the untimely death of Detroit Hip Hop Artist PROOF (from the group D-12) Very Hard and he vowed to do his part to elevate the Detroit Hip Hop seen Back to a National Platform.
