Carl Grubbs has been played on NTS shows including Altered Soul Experiment w/ Amila, with Scorcher (Instrumental) first played on 27 June 2019.

One fifth of the jazz quintet, The Visitors, along with his brother Earl Grubbs. Both played saxophone within the quintet. Carl is first cousin of John Coltrane's then-wife, Naima Coltrane.
