Time Machine

Time Machine

Time Machine has been played on NTS in shows including The Uline Catalog w/ Calvin LeCompte, featured first on 7 July 2019. Songs played include All Or Nuth'In'.

There are at least three bands called Time Machine.

an Italian prog metal band

an American hip-hop outfit

an Irish rock band with a complicated history (they were three different bands)

Time Machine is the name of an Italian progressive metal band formed in 1992. They released four studio albums and several EPs before splitting up in 2004. Vocalist Marco Sivo featured on their last album in 2004.

Three longtime friends joined forces in late-summer 1999 in Washington, DC, United States, to form Time Machine. After completing the spontaneously crafted collaboration 'Block Troopin'', MCs Jaysonic, raised in Miami, and New Yorker, Comel, along with Rhode Islander, DJ Mekalek, decided that their undeniable collective musical chemistry deserved development, and thus, Time Machine was born.

Irish rock band Time Machine were active as early as 1969. This band underwent several personnel changes and released a blistering cover version of Status Quo's 'Railroad' (1972), before folding. With bookings to fulfill, manager Louis Walsh simply recruited a Dublin band called Freeway to continue under the name Time Machine. This completely new band released the second single: an adaptation of Irish folk traditional, 'As I Raved Out' (1973). They broke up once again in 1974 , but drummer Derek Teeling resurrected the name again. Now featuring singer Annie More, guitarist Chris Hand, keyboardist David 'Knobs' Jameson and bassist Tommy Smith, Time Machine 'Mk. III' issued a three-track single in the punk and power pop era, headed by 'Never Met Suzi' (1978).
