UVX has been played on NTS shows including Field Work, with Ambience¹ first played on 1 June 2019.

Tim Norman and Luke Boucher met at school in 1985, later forming UVX and going on to sign to Magick Eye records.

After first establishing a home studio in Brixton, in the mid 90s a studio was set up along with a third musician and producer, in a former public toilet in subterranean Brighton - the Underground Cell Studio.

UVX have performed at The Zap Club, Brighton; Club UK, London; Club Dog at The Robey; The Que Club, Birmingham; The Phoenix Festival; Whirl-Y-Gig; Beat Herder 2008.

Debut record Elevator EP 1992, followed by Acid Explorer EP and Double Helix LP 1993. Second LP Rays and single Billy Whizz 1995, all released on the Magick Eye label.
