Von Zamla has been played on NTS shows including Fire Shuffle w/ Steve Davis & Kavus Torabi , with Doppler first played on 11 September 2019.

Von Zamla was the last incarnation of the Swedish band Samla Mammas Manna, coming after Zamla Mammaz Manna's dissolution, with core members Lars Hollmer and Eino Haapala. The band existed in two incarnations: 1) the Zamlaranamma band with Jan Garret and Denis Brély from Albert Marcoeur's band, 2) the No Make Up! and 1983 band, with Wolfgang Salomon from Munju, Michel Berckmans from Univers Zero, keyboard player Hans Louhelainen (aka Loelv), and drummer Mårten Tiselius (who went on to Lars Hollmer's band afterwards).
