Jean-Marie Massou has several strings to his bow: he sings the ballads that he writes, such as the well-known "Complainte de Marie-Ange", dedicated to the little girl he crossed paths with during his childhood, which can last from 3 minutes to a quarter of an hour depending on his mood. He sings with the help of cassette tapes, tracks like "La Paloma", "Du gris" and "Les compa- gnons de la chanson", and he also makes sophisticated compositions to go alongside his dreams, his sketches or indeed the messages that he wants you to hear.
